Is it just me or is this crazy? I thought it was bad enough that MEGA CHURCHES have satellite campuses in there own cities. Why not branch off into smaller community churches? But now we have churches 1000s of miles away! Why not just stream the sermon live so i can stay home and tweet about it in my jammies. The Church is about community not sermons. Even if the gospel is preached it wont have any community context for these sites.
We live in a culture that loves larger thanlife people we have turned these Pastors into celebrities. Im a victim of it my self i love John Piper and Francis Chan, and I think Driscol has done some great things in a tough city. But the gospel needs hands and feet not live web streams. Lets just do away with church planters its cool we already stream the gospel through christian radio and TBN to 3rd world countries. Oh wait they dont speak english.
